Jennifer's career didn't begin in immigration law. It began in philosophy, then Seoul, then international commerce — an unlikely preparation for the only work she's done for twenty-five years.
Jennifer H. Ahn is the founding attorney of IMIN Law, a boutique immigration practice based in Texas with offices serving the Chicago area. A graduate of Bryn Mawr College and Loyola University Chicago School of Law, she has practiced immigration law exclusively since 1995.
Before law school, Jennifer taught English at Yonsei University in Seoul — a chapter that gave her both fluent Korean and a deep empathy for the professionals who leave everything familiar behind in pursuit of extraordinary work in the United States.
Her years at international law firms, import-export companies and in commercial real estate left her with the commercial literacy that EB-1 executives, E-2 investors and H-1B specialty-occupation clients require. When she speaks with a multinational manager about a transfer petition, she understands the business case first and the visa case second — which is exactly why her approval rates are what they are.
